Subject | Giant Eland Protection |
Having just returned from a visit to the Fathala Reserve and a sighting of the Giant Eland, I am deeply distressed to find that most of the links online about this beautiful creature focus on hunting and most of the photographs are of men gloating over corpses. This site is only one focusing on conserving this animal. If there are others, please do let me know. How has the Healthy Planet project flourished? Were males found for South African zoos? Thank you.

We are still hard-working and preparing further activities togehter with IUCN specialists. We are actively running a Czech website www.derbianus.cz, the English and French versions are just in preparation. Thanks for visiting Fathala reserve!

Subject | Contact for Fathala reserve, Senegal |
Dear friends, would you please be able to help? I was working as a warden in the reserve park in 2009 and had to be flown to England as a result of malaria. I had to leave my dog there and would like to find out how he is and contact the Belgium couple and my other friends there. Do they have email? Kind regards, Please reply to ewestacott@facebook.com
